If anyone here used Child Support and bank account and has succesfuly obtained an approval? I know what it entails, my question is has anyone gone thru it?

i was short $7000 on my income requirements.. i used bank account that showed 3 times the difference in cash.. we had no issues at all with it..

let someone else confirm this but child support is income.. but im sure you have to put the child as a dependent on the AOS.

Yes, you can show child support as your regular income. But the evidence is required.

Quote from I-864 instructions - "If your claimed income includes alimony, child support, dividend or interest income,or income from any other source, you may also include evidence of that income."

I am so glad you said this buddy!!! I got to show three times the amount so I am short almost $3,000 so x 3+ 9,000?? YESSSSS!!! I wanted to ask you what did they asked your fiancee at the embassy? send me a PM

I got all documentation needed (court order in lace for at least the next five years and got the checks he puts in my account.. I am still holding on to my co-sponsor but wanted to do this on my own! thanks Loto!
