Hello everybody,

I am wondering if the officer at the us-embassy records what you are saying/makes notes or if they just note the outcome at the end of the interview?

They make notes of anything they consider important. Why would you ask such a question? Surely, it's not because you intend to lie.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Just out of curiosity.

I have never seen them make notes of anything at my F1 interviews? Do they only make notes at immigrant-visa-interviews?

May I ask you how you know that's what they do?

The officer interviewing me typed the answers to the questions she asked me into her computer throughout the interview in addition to making notes in our file.

Also, if anybody experienced naturalization (N-400) interview here, they will write entire story what you talk on N-400 form and finally my form looked like an art paper :-)

Nope...all the Naturalization and AOS interviews in US are Video Taped....!!!!

Now I think I have naturalized in the past WITHOUT the direct interview. I had special consideration and we talked over the phone to naturalize. I forgot to hookup the video tape at my end.
