I am kind of confuse about the employment template on visajourney wiki My link. I understand that I should put 2010 next to current fiscal year but what should I put for salary? Should I put salaries for the past 7 months or the salary til December? Thank

Annual earnings. If you get paid on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly/etc. basis have the letter extend that into an annual earning amount.

For example if you were paid $1000 per week the letter would indicate that your salary is $52,000 per year. If you are paid $10 per hour for a 40 hour week that would calculate out to $10x40hrsx52 weeks which equals $20,800.

You don't have to exactly follow every detail of the template.

Get a regular employment letter from your employer on their business stationery (that has their name, address, contact phone#, fax# etc.), showing your full name, job title, hiring date and annual salary. Then it must be signed by somebody in HR. That's it.

Every employer has their format to prepare this letter.
