Good Morning MENA! Up already on vacation while Adam and my grandmother are still sleeping. Last night we went swimming in the river here and I had Adam take off his necklace & watch, but forgot about his ring. His wedding ring fell off and disappeared into the water! :(

Yesterday I woke up sneezing the day away and today I feel horrible with sinus/allergies. Why does it have to be like that for vacation! But we are having a nice time so far and we found Wifi at the RV park :)

Hope everyone has a great weekend? :) Time for me to do what I've been putting off all week (cleaning the carpets and the garage, along with all my other household duties). Idk when I will learn, I keep telling myself I won't procrastinate anymore, and I do it everytime :bonk:

07/30/10 - Case sent to Cairo embassy

08/05/10 - Case received at embassy

09/07/10 - Received packet 3 - FINALLY!!!

09/15-10 - 2nd trip to Egypt, returned home on 10/5/10

12/14/10 - Received interview date

01/09/11 - 3rd trip to Egypt

01/12/11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!...but AP

01/24/11 - Returned to the states without my habibi :(

04/06/11 - AP was completed!! :)

05/10/11 - Visa has been issued!!!

Awww I'm sorry about Adam's ring, Tamara. :(

I'm winding down my week of no children. I miss those buggers! They've been on vacation with their dad all week and although I've enjoyed the quiet, I'm lonely and missing them! I guess I'll do some housework and grab a movie later on. Maybe I'll even do the yard work to give the old man a break this week, lol.

Happy Saturday all!

Hubby is working this weekend. Can't wait till he's home... I wouldn't mind a nice nap RIGHT NOW! LOL

Been here for almost 5 months and still adjusting to the whole idea of change. Some days it's easy, some days it's not. I wouldn't say today is one of the easy days.. I can't help that 'nostalgia' feeling...I just wonder when this 'adjustment' period will be over...

Aya, I don't think that nostalgic feeling ever fully goes away. My husband's been here over 3.5 years and he still gets it. He had it just yesterday as a matter of fact. He seemed a bit down but wouldn't say why. Last night he told me how he had talked to one of his cousins online that he hadn't spoken to in awhile and I knew that was why he was down. He was missing Egypt and everybody there. I'm sorry you're having one the sad days, I hope that feeling passes soon. (F) I'm sure John returning home from work will help cheer you up. :)
