hello

so, i have recently been employed and will have a good amount of income and saving by the time my fiance will be turning in the I-134 at his interview.

we will be getting a co-sponsor, but i am wondering if beings i have a job now...(have been living off of saving for the past 2 years/have not made enough $ to file for taxes)......

should i still provide all of my bank info, letter from my employer etc.

also, i will not have filed taxes for this year yet. as they are in april or so....and he will probably be going to his interview in dec. or jan if all goes well.

i understand that the co-sponsor will be the one providing all the evidence and support the my fiance will not become a public charge......

but i thought it would be better to show that i am actually working, and have income......as apposed to not....?

any suggestions?

thanks alot!

The petitioner is the primary sponsor and submits the addidavit of support and all supporting documents. As you will be stating your current annualized income you will need to provide support for that income claim. Recent paystubs and employer letter are typical. If you are submitting assets (savings, etc) then bank statements would be required to verify the claimed savings amount.

Refer to the Latin America regional forum for Peru specific feedback.
