Hello everyone - I am trying to get an idea of what is needed on the verification letter from the employer. Is anyone willing to share their letter so I know exactly what is needed on it (off course dont need to know the salary, location, position etc) Just need an idea of it.

Who do we address the letter to? Do we need to have an signature from your manager? Etc.

10/05/2010: DS-3032 COA emailed to NVC

10/11/2010: IIN received

10/11/2010: AOS review fee ($88) online payment - IN PROCESS

10/14/2010: AOS status 'PAID'

I used the exact letter that is listed on this site, only I changed the information to my own. I believe you can find it under the guides section.

NOA 2: Approved 4-29-10 (72 Days)

NVC Forwarded Petition to London- 5-6-10

NVC Letter Received: 5-7-1010

London Received Packet: 5-14-10

London Mailed Packet to Rob: 5-18-10

Packet 3 Received by Rob: 5-22-2010

Packet 3 paperwork mailed to Rob 6-12-10

Medical- July 8, 2010

Everything mailed to Embassy 7-19-10

Interview Date: 9-14-10- Approved pending non-machine washed replacement passport.

Can I get my verification letter signed for today even though I haven't been approved yet. How long is it valid till? Any ideas?

I am assuming you are thinking ahead to your I-864 submission for NVC? In that case it would be preferable to have the letter as current as possible. I would wait until you are closer to the time of submitting the documents.

In fact, you can get an employment letter now since you are very close to I-130 approval time. Typically, it is ok to have up tp 3 months old documents such as employment letter etc., since you will have the latest pay stubs from them, any way.
