I received the NOA1 last Saturday July 24th and I think my finacee is pregnant 2-4 weeks. Will this delay our paper work? Will they make us do a DNA test?

No, it will neither delay or expedite your case. A DNA test will generally be required if the baby is born abroad. If the child is born abroad, and you meet the residency requirements, the child should have US citizenship. A CRBA should be filed in this case and often a DNA test is necessary.

No difference. If the child is born before she arrives in the USA your family size increases by 1 and you have to apply for a CRBA and US passport for the child. Children of US citizens are eligible for citizenship and are not eligible for visas to the US.

Most airlines will allow your pregnant fiance to fly up until almost 7 months along (at least they did when I was prego and moving to Germany). So if you get your visa before then, you could have your child here.

Remember to tell them at Medical that she is pregnant since it is bad for baby to do Xrays...
