Peace out...I will tell you when I get a call from them, if they dont agree with my application.

But I doubt they want to delay a citizen being with their fiancee, just because of a simple paper..maybe they will be kind enough to waive me sending them the decree because citizens can always be trusted to keep their word when they say they will do smthng like divorce.

i want some of whatever he's on.... the dude is seriously trippin' his fanny off! :lol::lol::lol:

Am dead serious. I know they will understand my situation or call me with questions. I gave my phone number on there.

I dont think they can hold the whole application just because of one paper! thats not only because am an American, but am also paying them to process the papers. Its not afavor they are doing me.

They won't hold it up. They will cash your check and then do you the favor of returning to sender as application denied.

Has nothing to do with being an American, has everything to to be being legal and free to marry at the time of application.

Oh that's right, you forgot to call them and tell them you wanted 3 day processing, and it was their fault for not checking with you first. I hate when you get in the 4 day pile, it's just not fair.

If it's any indication, I'm also getting married October 7th. We filed on February 27th...i'm really sorry but you're wedding plans aren't realistic.

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Is it possible that my fiancee can have her visa by the end of next month?

As others have posted 6 months is about the average. I feel like I was lucky in that my K-1 only took 4 months and 22 days. For K-1 and AOS the whole process took 359 days. Your October wedding will not happen. Not in the U.S. anyway.

Forgot to check the "Express Processing" box on the form!!! :lol:

Dang William... another RFE on the way:

"Your I-129F is being returned because you neglected to tell us how long we should take to process your request. Please indicate your preferred processing window by checking one of the following:

__ Yesterday, I wanted it done yesterday.

__ Next week is fine. My fiancee is here on vacation and I'm perfectly content at the moment.

__ I need another month to tell my wife I want a divorce.

__ Anytime between now and infinity is acceptable. Take your time. I'm in no rush.
