I am experiencing the same thing, accdng to uscis, rfe july 21 but havent received it in the mail... *sigh*

Ours was 'sent' on the 20th but still haven't recieved it in the mail!!! Seriously if they just e-mailed you what they need you could print it send it back but I guess that would be WAY to QUICK!!! This waiting is killing me trying to 'guess' what they want!! I am missing him terribly... :crying:

I-129F sent: April 19, 2010

APPROVED October 27, 2010

MARRIED NOVEMBER 20, 2010!!!

AOS: Sent March 2nd

Recieved March 3rd

NOA1 March 8th!!! via txt

i hear ya.. I just wish there was a faster way to know other than waiting for the darn mail.. Well atleast youre not alone, look at the bright side atleast we know theyve looked at our cases right? Cheer up :)

Ok, I recv my RFE and it states i need my fiances divorce certificate from 7 years ago translated form spanish to english... the RFE states this " If you submit any document in any language other than english, it must be completely translated. The translator must certify that the translation is accurate and that he or she is competent to translate"

Does this mean anyone can translate this and sign it with this statement, or does it need to be done by an attorney or notary??

Yes, it means if the person translating is fluent in both spanish and english can simply state that and give their signature that the translation is accurate. It should say something like this:

08/05/10 - Case received at embassy

09/07/10 - Received packet 3 - FINALLY!!!

09/15-10 - 2nd trip to Egypt, returned home on 10/5/10

12/14/10 - Received interview date

01/09/11 - 3rd trip to Egypt

01/12/11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!...but AP

01/24/11 - Returned to the states without my habibi :(

04/06/11 - AP was completed!! :)

05/10/11 - Visa has been issued!!!

That is wierd.. i never sent her leeter of intent, and the only thing they require is this translation -- hmmm .. but here is my updated timeline. how long does it normally take after response of rfe in prcoessing? anyone?

6/17/2010 - I-129F Sent

6/21/2010 - Rec'v per USPS

6/25/2010 - Notice date NOA1

6/29/2010 - Check cleared Texas Svc Center

7/2/2010 - NOA1 recv hard copy in mail!

7/2/2010 - Touched!

7/21/2010 - Touched!

7/22/2010 - Touched!

7/23/2010 - Notice of RFE in email/text --no reason given except to wait for snail mail....

7/27/2010 - Recv hardcopy RFE needing divorcee decree and translations, not a divoorce Nisi as sent

7/31/2010 - Sent USPS

8/3/2010 - Delivered @ 12:05 PM per usps

8/4/2010 - Recv text / Email in RFE response / review
