I probably will come back some day to get my thigh saddlebags done! :) I saw a really depressing show on GNT when I was in Brazil last week about how saddlebags never go away no matter what you do. :(

Anyway, I'm sorry the guy said the stuff about Brazilian medicine. People are usually pretty ignorant about Brazil. (Most people think Brazil speaks Spanish even.)

Nevermind that. There is prejudice and ignorance everywhere. The way I found to deal with that is to show them it's not quite the way they thought (works, sometimes... :P )

I had my breasts reduced in 2001. It always bothered me having to wear a bra every single time. There were a few shirts I couldn't wear before because I had to use a bra and it'd show :P

I'm much happier now, after having that surgery. My confidence went way up and I feel free :P

They were 44/46 before..... now they're 42 :luv:

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

Ah, quase me esqueci, obrigada pelos parabens!!

Bacio,

Vanessa

My story:

09/23/2002 - Met Chris online, there was something very special about this guy =0)

07/16/2006 - We got married in Reno, Nevada.

USCIS:

08/13/2006 - Filed for AOS, AP, EAD - they were VERY carefully packaged with a detailed cover sheet on top of each of the forms, just as VJ's instructions recommend. It was A LOT of work, but it did pay off! (we firmly believe this is what sped up our process big time)

08/31/2006 - Biometrics appointment

09/09/2006 - Received my AOS appointment date!

10/26/2006 - EAD touched and AP APPROVED!

10/27/2006 - AOS appointment at 7:30 AM! APPROVED IN EXACTLY 70 DAYS!!!

11/01/2006 - EAD approved

11/02/2006 - Email notification - greencard will be mailed as soon as it is ready! YAY again!

11/02/2006 - Welcome to the United States of America letter in the mail! Almost there! =)

11/06/2006 - EAD card and White card (a.k.a. greencard) arrive in the mail!

Journey Total Duration: 80 days

Filed for removal of conditions on 07-28-2008 and had them removed on 09-10-2008

TMI
