Nessa, I agree about the annoying family that is never there. Gladly mine isn't trying to do that, the only ones wishing me luck and all are the ones that I actually socialize with.

I'm actually having a big party and decided to invite people I haven't seen in years. It's a good way to reconnect I think. They were all part of my life at some point and I love what each one of them represents...

That's just me though... I have a cousin that feels the same way you feel about that kinda stuff. :P

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

That's just me though... I have a cousin that feels the same way you feel about that kinda stuff. :P

I thought about either saying goodbye to everybody, or to nobody, because if I say goodbye to everybody, everybody is happy, if I say goodbye to nobody, then nobody can ever say ''oh u didn't say goodbye to me :( '' cuz I'll just give the answer ''well, I didn't say goodbye to anybody, it wasn't just you'' :P

So, since I'm living in another city, I can't get people of both cities together in one place at the same time, I opted not to say goodbye to anybody. :thumbs:

I am celebrating and having lots of fun with everybody...with those that I socialize and those that are just showing up now after awhile.. but then I am a messed up person :lol:

right now I am just getting back from my mom's house... and ooohhh I had lots of fun... on Friday they threw a party for me at work... tomorrow I have another one with some friends... on Thursday again....and it has been going like it for 4 weeks now.. I am beat.. :lol:

I already told Ken that when I get there he will have to give me sometime to recover my energies :lol:

I'm spending time with my mom, whom I hadn't seen since August, she came down this week so we're all over each other and doing some last minute shopping for me. :) Friday I'll go have sushi with my friends though. I LOVE sushi, and Luis doesn't and it's very expensive there so I must make the best out of it. :P I do know how to make sushi so I'll do that from time to time. :D

Hi girls!!! Just want to let you know that I'm already here in Lancaster with david!!! I came throught NY and everything was fine. You guys are not going to believe but I got my authorization to work until january 8th, over there!!!

Congrats Jana!!! We are happy for you. I asked the Miami POE immigration people about the stamp and they had know idea what I was talking about (BTW Val and sons just received her GC in mail) Best of luck!!

10Yr GC arrived 07/02/09 - Naturalization is next

The drama begins - again!

And now the drama ends - they took the Green card . . .

Actually, I was going to ask for that but I didn't have to. When I asked the guy he said he already stamped my authorization to work in the back of my I-94 form. I've heard about other people that got yours at JFK also.

Well, I'm planning about get married at Court's house next week or the week after.
