Sorry if I took so long to respond. I've been tumbling around since I got my visa. cool.gif Yes, your fiancée is required to take the CFO seminar. She can attend the one in Manila at PRISM along Taft Avenue or St.Mary's if she lives in the vicinity of those places. If she's from Cebu, she can get the seminar there. She will receive the complete address and detailed instructions once she receives her visa packet. They will make her and a few others watch documentaries about spousal abuse and educate them about what to expect at the airport and the States. Tell her to take note of your mother's maiden name because she'll need it for the certificate.

Maybe this will be of help. http://kookyheteromorphic.blogspot.com/

Hi everyone! First of all god luck to you on the interview, I am sure you will be approved but it cant hurt to bring as much evidence as possible. Better to have too much than be missing something! I highlighted what you said at the end of this because I told my fiancee something about a seminar she needed and a stamp or sticker that would be put on her passport so she can leave the country. Is the CFO Seminar what I read about and if so what exactly is it?

Thanks

good day!!..just wanna ask about that CFO seminar...can you attend that one ahead before your medical&interview??..or you have to finish your Med&Interview and have your visa approved so that you can attend the seminar??..thanks..be blessed!!

Yes, you can attend the CFO seminar before your medical and your interview.

My wife completed her medical on a Tuesday. She attended the CFO seminar the next day. She had her interview on the following Monday.

After she received her visa, she returned to Manila and went to the CFO office to get the CFO sticker. A couple of days later, we were finally reunited. :)
