Just received a letter that was mailed Aug 4th from Montreal..... Sept 24th baby!!!! This is a good sign guys (and gals) and maybe things are moving and shaking (slowwwwly). Do keep patient and just have faith in the system (I had to tell myself that every day when I checked my empty mailbox).

Best of luck to everyone and just have faith that it will happen.

Thanks. I booked the vaccines I needed today for this week, and will book the actual medical tomorrow, hopefully for next week.

My only concern is I don't have my medical history - the only operation I have ever had was to have my tonsils out back in 1988. I can't get a record of this (from the NHS in England) as they don't keep medical history between the ages of 1-17 past your 25th birthday unless it will affect your adult health. I'm hoping they don't consider this a "major operation".

Now that you bring it up; I also had my tonsils out when I was younger....I didn't even think to mention it at my medical.

IMO this won't be an issue at all for you. Good luck!

Great news, congratulations and good luck!

I did my medical in Toronto but found this review in the Canada forum of a Vancouver medical. You might find it interesting. Good luck. :)

Spam post has been removed.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Just a side note....there are still quite a few who havent filled out their timelines. If you can that would be super helpful to those of us at the end of the line here:) Thanks!

Hopefully Birdnerd will get her interview letter soon:)

Yes, surprisingly, I'm hoping that, too! :D

Called DoS today, still saying there's no interview date assigned. I can't figure out if DoS will actually know when an interview date has been assigned by the consulate, as opposed to one scheduled by NVC.

Also, my address change hasn't been processed by Montreal, sent one email back in April the week I was moving, and another a few days ago.

Sigh.

Did you do a change of address/mail forward thing at the post office? I hope your notice isnt just out in postal limbo:)!
