So, ever since I started this process I've made a habit to keep a watch on others processing times to try to have an idea of what the most current timelines are.

Is it just me or are the petitions sent in May and June FLYING through?? I postponed my wedding date (originally October) because I didn't think that 6 months was enough time to get the petition back and plan a REAL wedding. Subsequently, my petition was approved in just over 6 weeks, and is now on it's way to London! Looks like we postponed for nothing (although better safe than sorry!)

I hope this speed at the USCIS is a permanent trend as we continue the visa process!

Anyone else experiencing freaky fast processing??

Yep. I sent my petition to VCS on May 26th and my approved petition got to London today, 12 days short of 2 months out. Our wedding is planned for next April, and we were hoping that he would be approved for the visa in January or February originally. Now, it looks like he may have an interview in September! I'm not complaining, at all. It's just a lot do deal with when we expected it to take much longer, and we will likely have to do a civil ceremony this fall before the big shindig in the Spring. Basically, he could have his visa around the time that we were expecting to get our NOA2!

I'm happy to hear others are having my luck! Those who are waiting, I know it's terrible! I used to drive home twice a day to check my mail while I was waiting for my NOAs (LOL). Hopefully things will be speeding up at CSC as well! I'm sure they are inundated with petitions this time of year, love is in the air in spring!
