I just realized that Texas Service Center does not even process I-130s anymore, why on earth would my petition go there? This could be very bad....

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Huge news today for me and I do not know if it is good OR bad. I was notified by text message that my case was moved to Texas Service Center... I have no idea why since I live in San Diego, CA, but anyways I HOPE it is not a bad thing! What do you all think??? Hell, I didnt even think Texas Service Center existed anymore!

was just notified that my cases were also transfered to texas. Message I recieved:

On November 1, 2010, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283

It looks like CSC is really overloaded and pending cases are slowly climbing up there. It could be the reason. Wish it will be good for you guys!

thats what im thinking, since we are close to 5 months, they sent cases to get processed to keep numbers good. at least i hope so.

Got the same message. I hope its good. Surprisingly my I-129 is still at CSC or it might not have been updated yet.

Today marks the 1 year, 3 months, 8 days, point for me sighhh, I can't get anywhere with USCIS , I spent from July 24th 2009 in California service center, then they transferred to Vermont and told me my 180 day wait gets to start over again. And in December of this year, the 2nd set of 180 day waiting will be over

They should just approve me , and realize how they are hurting 2 married people that have tried so hard. Where is the compassion? I'm starting to feel as if its discrimination

From the underline comment above, transferring doesn't seem a good news to me :( . But still crossing my fingers. I think they have done mass outsourcing of I-130 today that's why a lot of I-130s are getting transferred to Texas.

Checked uscis site, my case is without changes. I think it is good sign that yours transferred. I heard that when VSC was overloaded they sent bunch of petitions to local offices and CSC and these people got approval very fast. Now i am worried

If it follows the pattern of when VSC transferred a bunch of applications to texas, then it is very good news. Quite a few people received their NOA2 in a matter of weeks rather than months.

Hope this is true this time as well.
