Congratulation to ones who have been approved.

I contacted congresman. The lady working for him told me that it is not beneficial to inquiry about my case through congressman when I have previously contacted senator regarding my case. Should I contact congressman and another senator or not? Please advice

sorry val , but u mean that ur I-130 got approved not I130 and I-129

did u get it by email related to ur account or check uscis status

Have faith Cad... seems there is a fire burning at TSC today. It's amazing what has happened in just the last couple of hours. Don't give up.. we're all in this together.

Thanks! Honestly, reading about all the approvals is filling me with hope that good news is coming soon. I'm hoping for something in these next two weeks. We were told to call back USCIS this Friday, I may go ahead and do so, although it doesn't seem to change much.

Congratulations to all those who got approved Today! Fingers crossed and lots of prayers for the rest of us still waiting!

sorry but K3 visas are administratively closed.

K-3 will be closed AFTER both the i-130 AND the I-129F are approved together, or the i-130 is approved first, then they will close the k-3 and you will follow the CR1 route

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

They don't allow to file K-3. K-3 visa is issued by the Consulate.

You will file I-129F after filing I-130 with the USCIS. But, it is too late for you to do it. Normally, people do it immediately after getting I-130 receipt notice.

Effective Feb 2010, chances of getting I-129F approved first before I-130 and pursue K-3 path is very remote.

Also, some people believe (just a belief!) that it might slow down IR1/CR1 path.

Your best bet is to wait for I-130 approval which is due any time now. It is the matter of some more luck!

i am thankful we filed the i-129F because this is giving us the platform on which to ask congressman, supervisors, etc to look into our case because the K-3 (LIFE ACT) is supposed to unite families more quickly so they can wait together while awaiting i-130 approval instead of the 2yr process that the CR1/IR1 used to take.

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

did you follow up on your RFE to make certain they received your response, did you receive soemthing showing they rec'd your response to RFE???
