Received a letter from my congressman and he said his Congressional Laison at USCIS

said I have to wait until Jan 14th and if i dont have approval by than I m to write

him back and have them get it approved than.

Let wait 15 more day and see if that the truth.

I told him there were many people transfered from CSC to TSC and nobody been approved

like but a handful and he said wait until your 5 months is up and than call him to have

congressman get it approved.

Good Luck we will see very shortly I guess in a week or 2]

i think he told u that because u will finish ur 5 months 4Jan and 10 days after that contains vacations..thats the normal.. then ur congressman will have the right 2 ask them 2 approve ur case,,, but me and some contacts here passed our 5month, one week ago, and there is nothing..i have one of my friends had her appeoval after 6 months and a week,, but hope the new year will make it fast when they return work after christmas vacations

Fired off e-mail to Ombudsman at DHS and contacted Congressman Dana Rohrabacher's office here in SoCal. The end of the week I will be contacting local media here in SoCal as well.

Wife just called, 3 AM Thailand time, son is sick again and taking him to hospital. So much for the APPROVED expedite request Nov 18th, called them the week before Christmas and got the run around, was told to just keep calling back.

About to go POSTAL....................

SqdnGuns :)

My Attorney said you cant do a Expedite until your 5 month has expired

after then USCIS will take a look at your Expedite. Your NOA-1 was 08/30/2010

you have to wait until 01/30/2011 until you get approved or later before you

will get any where or that USCIS will do anything

My congressman called TSC and they said they wont do nothing until

Jan 5th my NOA-1 is 08/04/2010 its now 5 months. After that date incase you didnt know

just hang tight nothing can be done to speed it up until 5 months from your

NOA-1. You can do what you want but USCIS wont do nothing until than ..:)

:)

Good Luck

Hi!

Has a lot to do with the grounds for expedite. They're not all treated equally, unfortunately. If there is a clear emergency you do not to have to wait for five months but those cases are far and between. My friend who is close friends with with someone in the senate, just five minutes ago gave me three numbers where to reach his aid and said while e-mailing is OK, calling them directly can get the ball rolling more quickly.

Maybe it's just something about talking and hearing the other person's voice rather than an e-mail, I don't know...

Good luck with your case! It will work out.

Yes you can, it was for Humanitarian circumstances due to my sons health. I also received the letter from USCIS stating that the EXPEDITE was approved. I don't have the letter with me at the moment but it states that within 2 or 3 weeks, I will be contacted by USCIS. That came and went and I have been calling to find out what the hell is going on. Everyone I have spoke too at USCIS even states taht I was approved for the EXPEDITE based on my sons health.

I sincerely hope your son is doing better, and I hope you don't go postal in the true sense of the word- that may not necessarily help your cause.

I'm hoping for the best for all of us, and especially for those in dire circumstances where health is perhaps being compromised by being forced to remain abroad.

Peace.

Hello ALL

Spoke to my Attorney today, said my 5 months was up yesterday

and I should be getting approved this month. He called TSC

and spoke with a higher level person who just said they CSC

was so backed up, they had to send the us to TSC.

They are so backed up he said they are runnng at about 6 months

instead of 5 months now.

He said Expedites wont work they are only processing them for

life and for serious situation with Senator and doctor request

only. So it looks like by the end of Jan I look to be approved.

Will see soon enough

Good Luck

Glad to hear you have your family together. My wife got here on Dec 3rd we had a wonderful christmas and new years. she was going to go back on Jan 10 but since TSC is taking so long she has extended it to Feb 27 as she has a 90 day visa. We have just gone ahead and started our life together, we found a house and are in the process of buying it, should go to colusure on Jan 31. and we are just enjoying being together. wife and stepson are loving the US though and he has already made some friends.
