In questions 32 "Do You Intend To Work in The U.S" and 33 "Do You Intend to Study in The U.S.".

How do you answer those questions? Once my fiancee comes to US, she will not be able to study or work until we officially married and apply for adjust status.

I also was stuck on those questions but someone who had just gone thru that told me that the answer shld be NO",dnt forget k1 is not a permanent residency there fore subject to restrictions.Until u make an adjustment after u get married etc and file all other necessaries u are not allowed to work.hope this helps.I trust someone who can be more explicit will jump in and help explain what i mean,but somewhere in this reply there is an answer

I just answer NO to both of them , its better for dont have any problem i think , because if you say yes , you need to write where and all the information so was easy say just no

I know, and I guess they know it too, I'm going to study and I'll work when I have my authorization, but at the moment of the interview I intend to marry, that is the purpose of the visa

I am sure the right answer is the truthful answer. If she intends on working then saying yes with proper authorization is the right way to go. They know she can't get authorization without getting married, so it's not a problem.

I think it's a lot worse if you say no and then apply for work authorization right after saying she doesn't intend to work.

Two weeks ago in Kiev I used "Yes, with work authorization" for Q32 which is the truth, and sailed right through the interview with nary a question about it.

Tanya's application and her daughter's application said: Yes, with proper authorization ... K Visa approved on both. So, I would say this is NOT a "gotcha" question and should be answered accurately.
