My husband's biometrics appointment is scheduled for 8 Thursday morning. It would be very difficult for him to get there at that time because we only have one car, and I need to take my kids somewhere totally different around the same time. He said something about dropping the kids off, and then going to his appointment late (probably 2 hours late). I think it would be a better idea for him to do a walk in appointment tomorrow (a day early). What does everyone else think? My main concern is if he's really late, they might tell him to reschedule, which would delay everything.

Have him try a walk-in tomorrow. Most places allow walk-ins, but a few don't. He won't know unless he tries! Also, even if they won't allow a walk-in, he can ask what hours they are open, and if he can come later than his appointment time on Thursday. Good luck for getting it done tomorrow!

Wednesdays are great days for walk-ins, so it can't hurt to try.

I was thinking maybe we could have people post where they tried to do walk-in biometrics, and whether or not they were successful. I'll post about Philadelphia once I find out.

Just so everyone knows, he called to say there were no problems. He wasn't even asked about the date on the letter, and it sounds like they didn't even look at it. So, it looks like Philadelphia allows walk-in biometrics!
