BTW---I'm not trying to start an arguement. I was just trying to state that when making a religious choice these countries choices are not the norm and therefore I would hope wouldn't be a major part of your decision (unless of course you lived there...then you'd have no choice...lol).

I watched "The Stoning of Soraya M" a month or so back. I cried my eyes out for most of the movie. Right before it got to the part where they were stoning the woman to a bloody pulp and showing it for several gory minutes hubby had to get up and walk out because he couldn't stand it.

I liked the line where Soraya said, "How can you do this to me? How can you do this to anyone?"

Same here Olivia. I was crying and felt so helpless for this woman. Leaves one with many

thoughts.

it looks as though there is a reprieve for the stoning as on now. omg i hope so!!!!!! when i was looking for this information the meta links that came along with it included a video of an actual stoning how horiffic, i don't even have words.
