Did my biometrics today in Elizabeth, NJ. Lots of people but it went fast and no problems at all. It didn't even take an hour.

Now I'm waiting for the interview letter too.. :)

Got a notice that the case has been transferred to a local office for interview, that means soon we'll get the interview notice! :dance: :dance:

Very good... this means (since we're in practically the same time frame) that I can expect this notice one of these days too... I can't wait. :thumbs:

I just hope that they don't plan the interview before 10/16 (3 years), since Newark has a same day Oath Ceremony.

OK, so ELW asked me to join the July filers so here goes. I'm not very computer literate so if someone could add me to the time line that would be great.

Sent on July 28th, priority date of July 30th, NOA August 4th. Still no biometrics D.O is Philly.. I opened a service request on Friday so hopefully something happens. It is frustrating seeing other being scheduled interviews from July and biometrics from August filers and I'm still waiting. Who knows, maybe they will reuse my fingerprints and I will go straight to the interview.

Congrats to everyone who got their interview notice..

ELW hopefully you 'll get your interview date soon..

On my side nothing changed still no biometric notice but I received a yellow letter..asking me to bring state ID and divorce decrees of prior marriages... I have already sent divorce decrees along with my application , I don't understand why they r asking the same document that I already included in my file :((

I hope I won't be waiting another couple months for an interview letter..

How long the time between receiving yellow letter and actual interview letter?

Hi lailaa! You didn't check out the updates on our list, we already got the interview date of Oct 15! We never received a yellow letter, we got the interview notice and another white page with instructions on what to bring to the interview. Looks like they send different things in different cases. Also, maybe you will not need to do biometrics at all! :thumbs:

When I did a search for you for "yellow letter" I saw a poll from 2009, it shows most people got like us, white letter and interview letter same time. But a fair amount of people got the yellow letter then interview letter later. If it makes you feel better, you can read up on others experiences by doing the same search, there are other threads about the yellow letter subject.

Hi lailaa! You didn't check out the updates on our list, we already got the interview date of Oct 15! We never received a yellow letter, we got the interview notice and another white page with instructions on what to bring to the interview. Looks like they send different things in different cases. Also, maybe you will not need to do biometrics at all! :thumbs:

When I did a search for you for "yellow letter" I saw a poll from 2009, it shows most people got like us, white letter and interview letter same time. But a fair amount of people got the yellow letter then interview letter later. If it makes you feel better, you can read up on others experiences by doing the same search, there are other threads about the yellow letter subject.

Yay! You guys, we applied in July and we've got our interview at the end of October. I'm excited.

Gotta start thinking of citizenship party ideas. Cake? Drinks? Decor? yes yes yes.
