Any Example K2 Questions at Consulate?

My Fiancées 20 year old daughter will be interviewed when they go to the consulate on July 13. Does anyone have any experience with questions that might be asked to K2 beneficiary? There are plenty of examples for K1 but I can't seem to find any questions that were asked to K2.

Thanks.

In Kiev... probably no questions..

When does she turn 21? You know you are under the "gun" and at risk her "aging out" if she turns 21 in the near short term and she does not have her greencard approved by then.

YMMV

Yeah, I know I'm in trouble on this. She turns 21 on the 22 of November. I tried everything I could to get this done as quickly as possible, but as you know, there is no rushing the service centers, they do things as they deem fit, then of course it was "stuck" at NVC for 3 weeks before going out to Kiev. I'm hoping I can get an expedite for AOS.

Tanya and I will marry the first week she is here so we won't waste any time (which we don't have!)

The only reason I'm asking about possible K2 questions is her daughter is here now (will be flying back for the interview)on a J visa(no 2 year rule applies) and I'm thinking they might ask her something about either that or some other questions related to living in the States.

A K-2 is automatic derivative visa when a K-1 is approved.... that is why I would expect no "grilling" type questions

YMMV

Pasha was 13 at the time and did not need an interview. There were no questions for Sergey. AFTER he got his visa, the officer just asked him some general interest questions...being friendly actually. "Where do you go to school?" "What do you study?" As I said, he had already been given his "pink card" it appeared to be "small talk".

There should be no questions difficult for her to answer. A J1 in no way disqualifies her for a K-2 (if there is no two year rule)

Yes, file the AOS as soon as possible. Also, when you get married, be sure to tell the officiant that you need a certified marriage certificate immediately. We got married on a Friday and I received the official marriage certificate on Monday. It required a bit of leg work on my part. DO NOT get stuck waiting for some agency to produce a marriage certificate in 3-4 weeks.

IF there is NO WAY to get the marriage certificate immediately, then FILE the I-485 WITHOUT it, wait for the RFE and send it in.

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!

I should be able to get the marriage certificate immediately. We are getting married at the county courthouse.
