So we sent a money order instead of a check...is there any way to check the status of those? Not that my NOA is late-just a worrier and like to know what to do "just in case" :) lol

Oh I see. No I don't think there's a way to track money orders. But if you just sent your application in give it a few more business days to get your NOA1. :thumbs:

Just wondering. We are planning a vacation for August 14-21 . Do you think there is any possible reason to believe that our Biometrics will fall in that date range?

Yes, like they say here '' my bad''. Did you see that type of staples, they use to staple the papers with ? i decided to just leave everything like the way they sent them, and send the original I-175 form, i think there s no need to make a new package all over.

There's no telling when the biometrics appointment will come in or when it will be scheduled for. Some people get weeks notice and some get only days. I'd suggest that if you don't get the notice with a firm date before you leave ask someone you can count on to check your mail every day while you're gone and let you know if it comes and when it is.

That said, with your vacation being only a week long I'd say if it doesn't come before you leave then you're probably o.k.

yep, they had some cool government issue cardboard clip-board type affair with big metal prongs holding everything together. Everything was dutifully stapled, arranged, annotated with secret markings - I didn't dare alter it. I just wrote a cover-sheet apologizing for being a retard and added that, and the original form into a new envelope with the entire packet, and sent it back.

I take my hat off to USCIS staff though, it must be hard to work on case after case, day in and day out. I have mild case of A.D.D. so I don't know if I could do it. :no:

Sent the wife's ROC packet today so there is a chance we may make the July filers. With as slow as our USPS has been the past few months I estimate it will not arrive until Tuesday. Most likely, I will be starting an August filers topic.

Congratulations notnew! That was kinda fast huh... I hope mine and all July filers will be that fast also.

Thanks Jamericanlove and luckymom. I am somewhat surprised to get my bio, frankly wasn't expecting. There are 4 filers ahead of me. There is a good chance that some out these 4 too may have got it and maybe will report today or tomorrow. But all in all is good news, thanks again.
