I have posted in several forums and no answer.

So I will ask here...

Anyone know about how many interviews are held each month?

NVC told my congressman's rep they had 166 cases waiting for Jordan.

Would these all be CR1s or all types?

Feeling lost and confused!

I think the reason why no one answered you is because there is no way to know for sure!

Obviously not all the pending cases are Cr-1 since I am sure the consulate deals with K visas as well.

And the number of interviews per month is dependent on the case load of the consulate. For example, Montreal went about 6 months scheduling only a small number of interviews per month because they were extremely understaffed.

However, according to timelines posted on VJ, for Jordon they average 184 days between NOA2 and interview. Which isn't that bad, Canada averages 231

Good luck

My first thought was "of course that is all types" BUT logically... there is no "waiting" at NVC for K visas. That is unless they are back on grabbing random K cases for AP.

They send them over to the consul and then they are scheduled so there would be no need for NVC to be holding petitions unless they were immigrant visas that had to go through process at NVC. But who knows what the rep meant

a quick search and you can see how many visas were issued last year through Amman. 406

That should give you some idea...

Good luck and I hope you get a date soon :)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
