Okay guys i need some answers and i need :help: from you guys...at least some aswers thoughts or someoneto tell me this is normal cus i dont know what to think....

my petition was approved on june14th 2010

and the nvc still has no record of my case its been 2weeks

this is freaking me out...tried calling the embassy in dominican republic and they told me

they could not give information over the phone...

i must have got someone that was covering a break or something because home girl did not know anything.

The point is that has anyone at least know that their package was received by the NVC through the auto messaging system they have available?

i dont care how long it takes for the NVC to view everything over ...it just worries me :( that they have not received it...or have no record of it.

OK, I think the problem is you are relying on the Auto messaging system. I did this also for two days and posted like you did. Then someone told me you must wait until they are open (07:00 - 24:00 EDT) and speak to a live operator/human being.

When I did that the next day, the slightly rude lady did confirm that my package had been received, gave me my new Embassy case number and even told me it was going out to the Embassy the next day.

Good luck.

The same thing happened to me. From what I read in the NVC forum here, the NVC does not store your information in the automated response system. So when you call and enter your information it tells "your record cannot be found". Don't panic, just be patient. Remember your case is only there for a short period of time (maybe 1-2 weeks).

After you receive your NOA2 (approving your I-129f petition), you will receive a letter from the NVC telling you that they are processing your case and it will mailed to the appropriate Embassy. During this time your case is examined then repackaged and mailed to the Embassy handling your case.

To get valid information just wait 1-2 weeks and (free)call the Visa Specialist (Department of State) in Washington D.C. Call 202 663 1225. Press Option 1 then Option 0 to speak to a visa specialist. (Do not waste your money calling the Embassy). They will tell you when your case was mailed and when your interview date is.

Also keep checking the Interview list to see when your interview is. Just type in the Case # that was printed on your NVC Notice (SDO2010...)
