Hello...

Maybe just overly anxious, but worried why I have not received the RFE Notice in the Mail yet...

On Jun 18, 2010, I received an email as follows..

Current Status: REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE SENT, CASE PLACED ON HOLD

On June 18, 2010, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Checking my case status online, I noticed a "touch" on Jun 21, 2010...

I am concerned since I haven't recieved the notice in the mail yet... I called USCIS and they told me that it takes about 15 days..

What is the normal time to receive this notice?

I am anxious to see the reason/s for the RFE and get this resolved as anyone would be.. Any ideas????

Don't worry, if they said they sent it, you'll receive it soon. Maintain your faith and strength and you'll be fine. Just trust in God. Good luck!

Married - 3/12/10

RFE Received 6/10/10

Touched - 6/7/10, 6/16/10, 6/17,10 (all)

RFE delivered - 6/29/10

Resumed processing - 6/30/10

EAD Production Ordered - 7/2/10, 7/8/10, mailed 7/15/10

Touched - 7/6/10, 7/8/10 (485, 765)

Touched EAD - 7/16/10

EAD Received!! - 7/17/10

Interview - August 30, 8:45- Approved!

I received the RFE NOTICE (I-797) today !!!

It appears the reason was just as I thought.. I failed to answer the question on the I129F in Part C, Item #2 regarding previous convictions...

Thank God! that's all it is...

Monday, this will go out on Fedex...

Thanks everyone for your support... Hopefully they will get my petition going again quickly...
