Hello all :)

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I'm waiting for an interview date for K1 visa in Montreal.

I THOUGHT I was supposed to call the DOS for see if a date was appointed yet? They said they didn't have record of my petition? lol? So they sent my call the NVC who said since the DOS had my paperwork for such a small amount of time, they didn't have my records? Anyway, they told to me to call Montreal? (514-398-9695) But I couldn't seem to get on the right path there either.... sigh

SO my question is, where do i call!? :bonk:

Thanks a bunch!

You call the DOS so if you're not in the system then most likely you are too early. When did you send back P3? Takes about 2-3 weeks (sometimes even more) for them to input your file into the system.

Please fill in your timeline. It's easier to answer questions if people have a sense of your timeline :)

Are you giving DOS yer MTL casefile # or the USCIS receipt number?

If the MTL #, and they have no record of it, don't sweat much - Montreal is lagged.

(Thanks for filling in yer timeline, btw)

Based on what I see in yer timeline, you might have 'appointment date set' towards the end of this month OR prior to the 3rd week in July. MAYBE.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hmm.. That is weired!

I remember you getting your P3 packet back in May, so that means you got your MTL case number. When did you send your packet back to Montreal? Is the number your calling DOS 202-663-1225? I hope you find out something soon!

SOrry just noticed your timeline! Looks like it's a bit early still for you. Keep checking back every couple of weeks. Takes about 2-3 months to get something scheduled :)

I've meant to get my timeline filled in. Mostly I just do a lot of lurking, so I never really get around to it ;)

We filed our I129 back in November. Our packet 3 was logged May 25th. I know it's a bit early for the date, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to start calling!

Thanks everybody!
