Hi Yardies whats poppin...I have been so busy I dont find too much time to stop in and chat. How is everyone doing? Im so dang tired too. Me and hubby and friends went to NYC for the weekend and we had a blast. Yesterday my friends aunt made breakfast for the fathers and her hubby's in law made dinner for them. All the women had to serve their men and they were presented with awards a the end. it was really nice and Garfield really enjoyed himself. After that we went to a boat ride. We left NYC at 2:15 this morning and made it home by 5:30 am. I am a walking Zombie.......But I had a blast

It really was fun. Jaheim is ok. He has changed alot but we still have some issues bvut nothing that I cant handle. I am the SUPER STRICT parent so he does not mess with me too much.

Yes, mi know...but don't do that. Most people don't like that. Sometimes I know it's hard, but u must know what you want to know and where your head is. I would hate for my husband to do that to me -- after all it's not fair. You understand, right.

Good Morning All,

Hope everyone is doing well. Hope everyone had a great weekend as well.

Is anyone a nurse on here? I currently have my BA in Business/Human Resources and work as a Workers' Compensation Specialist, However, I been wanting to get my Nursing Degree, with the hours I work this has made it difficult for me to persue it. However, I am signing up for a Medical Assistant program that is 9 mnths long it will start next month and then I am looking to transfer into the RN program immedately following which I have been told is not a problem by several people at different schools.

I just wanted to get a perspective from a nurse's standpoint if this would be a good move because I remmeber several years back you had to do the LPN and then RN after the Medical Assistant program and believe you me, I do not want to go through all those hurdles.

I'd suggest gettin into a Nursing as a second degree program- or Accelerated Nursing Degree program for folks who already hold a Bachelors degree. It's like a 1-2 yrs depending on completed course-work

Matt- This is the LAST work week FOREVER without your soon to be wife. Sooo excited for you. Septemeber is a good time to go to Disney. It's some cooler here and it's not crowded at all. If you need anything I live close by, but otherwise I'm going to let you 2 love birds be on your honeymoon.

Speaking of Disney... since everyone has so much love for it...let's have a Disney Yardie link up. They even have a hat that is Mickey ears with dreds and beads. Ok so I know it's expensive, but they are offering free food if you stay in one of their hotels. I'm just trying to get a link up going where I don't have to travel. lol

I'm excited for MattandKaci too, eventhough I'm worried they're cutting it a little too close to the 90 days deadline....

Listen, I love disney but it's way too expensive, I'd have to pass on that link up and go to JA with hubby :luv:

This guys wants to give me $500 to do his paperwork. Or to make sure he has everything and send it out. I told him I could not take that money (don't tell Louis he would kill me!! LOL) He is so nice and I cannot take all that money just for helping.

Good Morning Yardies....I am so not feeling being at work today. So I am planning for our first anniversary! Can't believe Sunday will be a year already. He has to plan the events or what we are doing on our actual anniversary day I am planning for when he has off from work on the 30th and the 1st.

I have to tell you guys if you don't book your hotel on priceline you really should look into it and name your own price. I just booked a 4 star hotel for $50 a night in downtown St Louis. Then we are going to go to a Cardinals game one of the nights. Hope he likes it because if not I am going to have a BLAST!!!! :dance:

Great idea... my mom lives in orlando and i never been to disney... Universal studio was good though

Well, I was actually a little over 8 mos. pregnant.

But yes, I had to see my honey, and that was the only time I was gonna be able to go :yes:

I was a little scared that I would go into labor in JA, but it was all good, I spent a lot of time relaxing. He would not let me lift a finger :rolleyes::lol:

I never forget Lawny txting me on honey's phone to make sure I was ok :lol:(L)

Orbitz has a deal for $200 off all air/hotel packages of 7 days or more...

He was like, why you wan get hotel, you can stay with me... but for a little over $100 more we can get a WEEK at the condos!! We can stay uppa country a few nights and down on the beach a few nights... can't pass up 7 nights for the price of 1!! :wow:

Hello my friends! How is everybody? What have I missed???? ;)

I actually have a visa-related question. I am helping a friend of my uncles do his K1 visa petition.

His fiance is from the Ukraine.

I am just going back and looking over k1 visa guides etc, trying to remember how to do all this. Thankfully he is VERY organized.

Where do find out how much I write the check out for? I know fees have changed and I don't want to screw his stuff up.
