hello and good afternoon to one and all... yes i am in a good mood because today i was officially welcomed to America, 11 months after coming here. I got my welcome to america letter today, saying my greencard should arrive in the next 3 weeks. freaking awesome... i did a little dance, whine up mi waist.

now to finding a *(&(claht job!.. .....

bout to go down to the detroit riverwalk for the riverwalk festival... ok 1 year and 6 months to lifting conditions.... 2 years 6 months to citizenship and then no more uscis ever.

Well, we did it again! A sucessful link up with our yardie friends! The yardie husband's are a hot mess lmao KJ hubby kept me laughing.. He is da bomb... I agree, gives them something familiar to discuss,their home! We walked around a lot. I was in so much pain when I got home, not to mention what should have been a 45 min drive turned into a 2 hour drive! Traffic was a b**** and there were about 3 accidents (glad I wasn't one of them given my current track record on my car). I took a hot bath in epsom salts, popped some motrin and hubby rubbed my foot for me, which helped me so much! (Thanks hubby!). He made me breakfast this morning too I will be at the chiro's first thing in the morning.

Yesterday was really nice, me and hubby met up with Tee, Reg and Mo and eventhough Mo only stayed for a short time, it was nice to meet her. Steve couldn't pull of his fake birthday trick again because they don't sing at ruby tuesdays

I JUST RECIEVED E-MAIL FROM THE EMBASSY THE VISA WAS PRINTED TODAY...SHE WILL BE ABLE TO PICK IT UP WEDNESDAY... So happy I get to bring my baby home. Plus I took a gut shot and purchased tickets on Tuesday with Jet Blue, I couldn't pass up the price. A round trip for me and a one way for her only cost $462. I am so relieved...Hope everyone is having a good day.

She'll be here the 30th, I'm going down the 27th to help her out with some stuff. Can't wait, it will be her first time off the island and first time on a plane...Gonna be interesting
