hello,

Im trying to get a visa for my fiance and

yesterday i received a letter from the juarez consulate saying that they have started to process our application and that my fiance has an open appointment and could attend any working day . I thought we had to schedule an appointmentfor the interview. Please advice if this has happened to you.......

That's the way it works for Mexico. Go to the website link in the letter, download all the instruction and do exactly as they say. The letter you got is their version of Packet 3. That's all you get.

Hi Kikis. First of all, congratulations! Your waiting is about to end!

Once you get the appointement letter with instructions, your fiance must gather all the documents( forms required by consulate, more evidence of bonafide relationship, affidavit of support, his passport, etc. I guess you've taken note of all that in Visa journey). When he's ready, can go to Cd. Juarez for medical exam and interview. They don't set an appointment as in other countries.

So,

when i see people from Mexico here on visajourney with an interview date on their profile...that's basically the date WE (petitioner & beneficiary) pick ourselfs?
