Hi Everyone..my name is April and my fiance Raymond is from Holland..I will be filing our form next week. I was wondering if it would be safe to visit him after I receive the NOA2 in the mail..will they be sending me any other information, to my understanding the rest will mostly be on his end after I send him the the I-134 and the other documents to him...I just don't want any delays and I'm nervous about leaving the USA incase they need additional information...but I would like to visit him because this may take several months. We are using the VCS, which doing research seems to be faster....Any advice would be appreciated...Thank You

I personally wouldn't worry about it...I just filed my I-129F (yesterday!) to the VSC, and have bought a ticket to see my fiance in the United Kingdom (leaving in 2 weeks- only visiting for a week, but it's worth it). If you don't want delays, the only problem you might run into is if you get an RFE, but it sounds like you are waiting until you get the NOA2. As far as I know from the research I've done, it's mostly on your fiance's end after the NOA2, except for the documents you are giving him which you already know about. I believe they send us updates on the progress of certain steps of the visa process after the NOA2, but I don't think we have to do anything after the NOA2 in regards to submitting more information to USCIS. I wouldn't worry about it, I say go visit him and you should be fine, but I'm not an expert so there may be someone with more experience who could give you a better answer.

You got it right Katrina!

I also went through the Vermont Service center and the only thing to worry about is if an RFE comes along- but hopefully not!! And you seem to know about the rest of the forms and supporting documents.

Not only did i go visit my fiance in England immediately after sending in my I-129f, but I moved here and we went through the whole process together. Our approval went as smooth as silk :)

So no worries about your visit to Holland April- Enjoy it!!
