Hi friends I have been approved to have a CR1 visa and now getting ready to fly, I know i have to give my passport with visa together with the xray CD and visa packet at the point of entry. My question "Is there anything they need to give to me aside from stamping my passport?"

I just want to make sure that I wont miss anything and I'm knowledgeable about things that happen at the point of entry. thank you

They will give you back your passport. As for the yellow envelope, they will take it and will not give it back to you. I didn't give my xray CD cuz they didn't ask for it.

Have a safe flight...

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

CR-1's don't do that. Most air stewards will give ya one, anyway, on the plane.

I have done the Pre departure seminar and got the sticker from CFO on my passport.

So I'm thinking I dont need any document coming from the POE , I just hand them the packet and my passport .

Thank you very much!

well- there is that 'customs declaration form' - but you can fill that out on the plane, prior to landing in USA - IMO, is trivial form, but must be filled out, and handed over to Customs Officer at POE. It's not an 'immigration' thing, per se, but is a 'Customs' thing.
