Furthermore, as you can see from above figure, if you're name starts with Q, it takes the longest amount of time to approve your case. Noone trusts the Q's. On the other hand the Ivory's, the Ivana's and the Isma'il get to enjoy an unprecedented delay of only 46 days between NOA1 and NOA2. It doesnt matter which of the spouses initial is I. As long as one of the spouse is Is, its all good.

What other ridiculous information can I come up with?

PS: I actually spelled 'ridiculous' correctly. I always want to spell it like 'rediculous.'

Any way to figure by country? I have been curious about that, but I am not as good at analyzing data as you are!

Unfortunately Igor's list doesn't have country data. That would've been an useful view. General rule of thumb is that Europe countries take the shortest amount of time. Personal exeriences.

NOA2's are taking longer and longer. For a while, it seems getting it within 100 days was normal. It's taking 150 days nowadays. It will only get longer from what I can tell. This too I predicted from looking at USCIS national average goals. I feel like such a sage.

That's what I suggested that Springer CR1/IR1 gets put aside in favour of H1B snd student visa. And I'm sure USCIS people taking vacation also adds to the delay. Plus who wants to work full speed on a lazy spring afternoon or summer morning? I know I don't. So if I was approving your cases, I'd be working as leisurely as I could without getting in trouble, during spring and summer. Knowing me, I'd do the same in autumn and winter also.

Actually no. I'm very good at what I do and I do it very well and very quickly. Or as quickly as I can without making mistakes. Mistakes aren't very tolerated when one works with important time-sensitive data.

OH MY GOD!!! why did I look at this thread??? The stats are addictive but driving me insane I hope the NOA2 comes soon. I hope I am one of the lucky ones. March 12 NOA1 My Initial is V, but I didn't fall into the 50 day category

well if youre really anxious whats going on you could start calling USCIS 18003755283 or you could check their website USCIS.gov/case status you already had your NOA1 right?and it had your case number on the upper left corner used that when communicating with USCIS. After that when you received your NOA2 start calling NVC 6033340700 hope this help:)

Calling USCIS is a waste of time. They wont tell you anything. They have contractors working there that just read from a script. Once you get your NOA2, calling NVC is helpful. It's hard to get through to NVC at certain times of the day though, but they will give you info.

I have found that NVC is very helpful, but don't be surprised if you get a busy signal. What that means is that you need to call them every few seconds for several minutes and you eventually will get through.

We usually called NVC late at night and found it easier to get through.

AVR is 24/7, operators are available 7:30 a.m. - midnight M-F. We usually called after 11p.m. and most nights were able to get through easily.

Go to the Immigration Timelines at the top of the screen. On the right hand side, there is something that says Processing Times: Igor's list. Then just make sure you change what you are looking at to CR1 from I-129F and then the I-130 and California and all of that good stuff.

Hey TeyaValentian, where does the Igorslist pulls the data from? There is two drop down menu for Approved and UnApproved Petitioners. I didn't see myself in either one of the queries. That's why I asked where does the data gets pulled from. It's very helpful if YOU (I see MYSELF )are in that but can't seem to pull up my name in that.

Also, the agency that you think would be able to answer you questions can't answer anything except: WE CAN ONLY GIVE YOU LIMITED INFORMATION "IT WILL TAKE 5-6 MONTHS". That's all I have been able to get out from our very own USCIS 1-800-375-5283 help desk. All I wanted to know was what month or date/day they were at the current point but no say Jose

Never thought this process was this painful but now I am finding out. I thought this only happened in third world countries. It seems like no matter what part of the world you go everywhere government agencies work on their on pace.

There are plenty of people who are still "waiting" for their NOA2 but have actually passed their interview or are at the NVC stage. That obviously skews the data.

Yeah, the people who answer the phones at USCIS are just reading a script for the most part. In order to get some real answers, you have to speak to an immigration officer. I see your NOA1 is March 5th. You should be hearing something from them soon, as long as they don't fall asleep again.

Thanks TeyaValentina. Yes, I did found myself on VJ's Igorlist. I didn't knew it was possible to go through the interview or NVC process if you have not received your NOA2. That's new to me. I thought the process work in steps but who am I to ask the GOVERNMENT
