Where in Canada do you go for immigration interview?

Husband is American Citizen (living in TX) I am Canadian (in Canada, on the west coast). I was told that after the I-130 is done or approved I will have to go to Montreal for my interview. Is this true? They don't do it in Vancouver? Also, will my husband have to travel from Texas to Montreal as well?

Any information will be helpful.

CR-1 interviews are in Montreal only.

Vancouver stopped doing them a while ago. Your husband does not have to come, but it's up to you two if he wants to be there.

Moving to Canadian section, it's better suited there.

Rhiannercakes is right. Your interview will have to be in Montreal. Vancouver no longer does immigrant visas. I know it might be difficult especially if you live much closer to Vancouver.

Montreal.

USC spouse is not required to go to interview.

The only way to have your interview in Vancouver would be to try for a K3 visa, but these are being administratively closed in favour of the CR1 when the forms hit NVC. There have been some creative theories on how to get around this, but I have not heard of any successes yet.
