Touched!! Where??

hello every one here thank you always for answer my questions . .

I have one month that we send our first package and we have the NOA1, just i dont know where everybody see that your case is touch or not touch , i go to the page and i can see , just YOUR CASE STILL IN PROCESS ..

So . . somebody know where can i know is they are working on it? when i have to start calling them ?

We send our package in April 20 and we get the NOA1 in April 22 . . i know i have to wait more just i want to know when i have to make some moves for let them know that WE STILL INTERESTING IN GET MARRIED!!!

this is so painful .. i know its not just me T__T

hey there, there's a really easy way to do that. you actually have to sign up for an account. go on the uscis status page and click on 'sign up for case updates' and you should see when your case has been touched etc.

remember - a touch doesn't really mean anything - some cases get touched ten times and take forever, some never get touched... it's just a sign that someone's working on your case at all

NOA1 April 22nd - so you might expect to see something by end of July - and should contact someone about your case if you don't hear anything by late October.

Thats about the reality if it.

Our case never showed a single touch - it was received then approved (3 months from NOA1 to NOA2...as an example)

On the USCIS website where you signed up for Case Status look at "My Portfolio". There in the row listed next to your reciept # and your alert choices is a date. The original date would have been your NOA1. Each time the date changes that is when your case has been touched.
