well I just phoned them up and asked and they informed me that me case was received on the 4th (Friday) and was sent out on the 7th (yesterday). So hopefully get packet 3 within the next week or two.

So much nicer than USCIS.

Sent AOS, EAD - 3/27/07

NOA1 for AOS and EAD - 4/03/07

Checks cashed - 4/04/07

touched AOS and EAD - 04/06/07

touched AOS and EAD - 04/09/07

RFE for AOS - 04/26/07

return RFE - 06/20/07

EAD approved - 07/07/07

AOS transfered to CSC - 07/10/07

AOS approved - 08/10/07

Welcome letter arrived - 08/18/07

Green card arrive - 08/18/07

Apply for stolen green card 07/12/09

Apply for I-751 09/31/09

I-751 rejected due to late filling

Resubmit with a letter explaining tardiness 10/01/09

NOA1 - 10/17/09

No BioMetrics

I checked this AM and NVC still has not recieved our case. I was also touched yesterday. This I find interesting.........

OK, sorry for the delay in getting back, but i've been swamped at work til now... I *did* call NVC this morning and spoke to a very nice woman who said that yes, our petition had been recieved, it's still at NVC and gave me our case #. She said no interview is scheduled yet, but it should leave for Casablanca soon :dance: Hopefully that's like this afternoon or tomorrow. I'm going to call back again tomorrow or Thursday to see what they say then. I hope the interview gets scheduled pretty soon, but I'm not fully ready w/ my info to send him :o yikes!!!

Noura,

You still have to receive packet 3, which is sent to your fiancee from the embassy and after you return that you will receive packet 4 which depending on how the embassy works, will probably schedule your interview at that time.

All this is done after it is received at the embassy.

You still have to receive packet 3, which is sent to your fiancee from the embassy and after you return that you will receive packet 4 which depending on how the embassy works, will probably schedule your interview at that time.

All this is done after it is received at the embassy.

Thanks dwar49! I'm guessing he'll recieve his packet/interview date in the next 3-5 weeks! It's Casa we're dealing with, so they're entirely unpredictable!

Called the NVC today. They received our paperwork yesterday and we were touched yesterday. Had to change fiancee's address. They said it might be 2 to 4 weeks for the paperwork to reach the embassy but I feel it will be by the end of the week!

I have been calling NVC every day..lol! I did see that my dated changed on USCIS on 8/7/06. So I guess that means that is the day it is sent?
