Hi all,

I want to start off by saying that I know a person may apply for a B2 visitor's visa while waiting to get a K1 visa. I've seen that posted several places throughout the forums. But my question is will it HURT the K1 visa process by applying for a B2 visa simultaneously? Will the consulate interviewer or any other party view this negatively? Or is the application of a simultaneous B2 visa not a factor in the K1 process?

will it hurt the the K-1? no

the K-1 process and B2 process so are very different that a true simultaneous application is not really possible
