Interview: Approved...do we have anything else to worry about?

I just got a call from my fiancee and she just left the embassy! She said she was approved! They were really nice to her and everything. The officer who interviewed her said she was approved and should get her visa in less than a week. But is there a chance that they might look at the forms and decide they need something else and not issue us the visa?

I'm probably just worrying too much, but it's hard to settle down until she actually gets her visa.

Thanks!

12-21-09 I-129F Package sent!

12-29-09 NOA1

2-23-10 NOA2!!

Congratulations, Barry and Ami! That's great news!

Yes, there's always a chance something like that can happen. However, I'd say you guys are in the clear. When she gets the visa in hand, it's 100%!

Again, congratulations on the wonderful news!

Hey Barry, Congratulations.

Yes, it is remotely possible they overlooked some document and will want it before actually issuing the visa but do not worry about that.

I have some questions for you.

1) Did any of your Visa forms have cross outs or white outs on them?

2) Were any papers you needed to provide faxed or emailed to Ami with your signature not showing the original?

I only want to know for my own knowledge. Not because there is any chance they will request new versions of those documents.

Thanks and Good luck with the next steps.

Congratulations of the approval!

I am sure she is highly likely to get her visa within a few days in the mail.

Geez - after all you two have been through and they leave you hanging with a "there's a chance comment". Nothing like adding a touch of doubt to the end of a successful interview.

Keep the positive thoughts and karma going and soon she will be on her way. You've hung in there this far, good luck on the rest of your journey!
