Married My Cousin (Bangladesh)

I married my cousin ( daughter of my mom's elder brother). Should I tell the truth during her interview? Will they put my wife on AP?I will be attending the interview with her. Will they ask for any DNA proof of our parents ? Or should I tell them that we are neighbors and our family know each other for a long time?

Absolutely tell the truth. Your marriage is legal. Now you get to convince a Consular Officer that it is also genuine. Expect some extra scrutiny and remember that it's evidence of time spent together that is the strongest evidence of a bona fide relationship. Your case is complicated by the fact that your spouse is both your cousin AND your neighbor so time in your city in Bangladesh isn't as strong for evidence as it would otherwise be. Taking trips together would help. Did you have a honeymoon? Do you have receipts? I think interview preparation is going to be critical to your success.

I was there for 1 week & didn't go for honeymoon. I stayed in her house. Her passport & police certificate has same last name as mine, I filed my last year tax as joint & she already received ITIN from IRS. I send her money twice every month VIA Western Union & we have the receipt of every transaction. We also have 15/20 pics of the get together party we had. Please let me know if there is anything else I should prepare as a proof.

Thanks.

More time together would help but I already mentioned that. You will be presenting "evidence", not "proof". The key in your case will be the questions and answers in the interview. Already mentioned that too, as I recall.

Time together is very important, as already mentioned. Also show that/ how you communicate, ie phone bills, emails, letters etc, from both before and after the wedding, which shows that you are not JUST cousins, but a couple. Being cousins, you presumably know a lot about eachother's families, but she should also be prepared to answer questions about how and why you got together, your5 educational background and work, where you currently live in the USA etc.
