You will receive the details when the RFE arrives in the mail. They do not let you know what is needed in an email.

Hopefully, it's something simple!

Your RFE is for almost 100% due to IMBRA since you filed after March 5 with the old form.

Hopefully once you get and return it they will approve you once and for all. Did you ever end up sending your own expedite request letter or contacting your Senator?

Their NOA1 is 1/23/06 though. No way it should be IMBRA.

Oops - I thought it said March for some reason.

Waitingincolo - I would really really really recommend sending in the expedite request and getting senator's help - this ####### has gone on way too long for you and since there is no question that there was USCIS error in sending your petition to a black hole in El Paso, I would think you have a pretty darn good case for an expedite . . . .

I filed before the IMBRA ( jan. 06) and both my congressman's offices told me that i would not be effected by it.

I've done everything I can, FAX my request for expedition, both congressman's offices told me they ask

that my case be expedited. If this RFE is for the IMBRA I'm not going to be happy.

There's nothing more I can to exept wait. I'm tired of getting the run around from everybody i talk to.

Right - you are not affected by IMBRA (although they have made mistakes and sent IMBRA RFEs to people who don't need them). I thought your congressman's office told you that they had NOT requested the expedite - if they did do it, what was the reason they were given for denying it?

I guess I'm just trying to think of other things you can do here instead of just sitting and waiting. Your case is totally different from anything else I've seen here and it's 100% clear that THEY made the mistake. I have a feeling that your congressman's office hasn't tried hard enough on your behalf - I know you said before that they didn't seem very interested in helping you. So maybe going to your senators and explaining the situation will get you some action. I got very limited help from my first senator's office but the second one has been incredibly helpful - it's all who you get, I guess.

Whatever you decide to do or not do, hope you see your approval shortly!

Both offices are well aware of my situation. I call both of them on a weekly basis. They both

tell me I will have to wait. I recieved a letter last Friday from one of the offices and it stated

that they requested that my case be expedited, but it could take 30 days before I would hear anything.
