There wasn't anyting I didn't like! But if I had to pick one it was the Tocino... or maybe the Lechon.

I gained weight when I was there.

hello, i will just ask what filipino food did your fiance or wife prepare you and makes u miss in the philippines thanks and takecare

There's so many! Pinakbet, dinuguan, daing na bangus. I miss those dishes because you cannot get as fresh as in Philippines.

Adobo, kare-kare, sinigang...I can make that here with no troubles. But the other dishes required certain fresh ingredients (i.e. dugo), which are more difficult to find here in the States.

What dishes do you miss?

Asawa ko's lumpia, sweet and sour tilapia, pancit, chop suey and munggo. My wife's lumpia recipe is different than the typical filipino lumpia. Coz, besides shang-hai mix, it's loaded with tofu, cabbage, peppers and other good stuff. Masarap!yes.gif

My wife and I eat Filipino food most of the time...and I enjoy almost all of it.

If I had to pick favorites...hmmm...I love her adobo, tinola, and monggo. :yes::thumbs:

But I make better rice than she does! :o

I like most all filipino foods...if my wife cooks it...I eat and enjoy it. :thumbs: If I had to pick a couple of dishes.....sinigang, adobo, and caldereta.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

hmmm, I liked everything there except Lechon. I know, I know, it's bbq pork and I should love it. I've just never liked unsmoked/uncured pork so it was no surprise it didn't care for it. Her dad would go to the dock and get a Blue Marlin...mmmmm!! Sizzling Sisig, Lumpia, Empanadas, her sinigang..Oh nevermind, EVERYTHING but the lechon :thumbs::thumbs:

umm Kevin i think lechon is not bbq pork its a roast whole pig i guess :unsure: what makes lechon so yummy is the skin and the sauce :lol:
