Non violent and non AWA felonies for K1

Hello all,

Im kinda worried, i have two felonies from 1996...Bank fraud and possession of a counterfeit postal service key...i followed all the stipulations to a T...paid back all restitution, survived 5 years federal probation without any problems, and since then, have been a model citizen...do you think this is gonna affect my K1 visa application?...i appreciate all feedback since I'm getting more and more worried about this...thanks VJ members...good luck to all of us!!!

Are you the USC or not? If you are the USC it will mean additional security checks... if you are the SO, then you will have a hard time due to the Crimes of Moral Turpitude ban...

Are you the USC or not? If you are the USC it will mean additional security checks... if you are the SO, then you will have a hard time due to the Crimes of Moral Turpitude ban...

I am the USC, I served in the US Army with an honorable discharge...sidenote, I was able to get my Sheriffs card in Las Vegas without issue for some bartending jobs a few years ago...thanks for the input.

you will be fine,it may take your case a little longer than normal... be sure she knows everything about your past as it may come up during the interview as a question and they will likely tell her whatever they find....

For a US Citizen, just answer the specific questions on the I-129f with a NO and get on with your life. If you are the foreigner, I hope you like where you live now because you won't be entering the USA anytime soon, if ever.

For a US Citizen, just answer the specific questions on the I-129f with a NO and get on with your life. If you are the foreigner, I hope you like where you live now because you won't be entering the USA anytime soon, if ever.
