booooooooooooooooooo to summer! Bring back the snow!!!!

I slept yesterday from about 8am to 5pm...then again from 12 midnight to 730am today. That thing Friday/Saturday morning totally wiped me out! I feel a bit better today (so far). Ensha'allah that spat is over and will not happen again.

I need Kiyah. I sent her an email. Have a friend who needs her expertise.helpsmilie.gif

May God bless you all today, Ameen

Morning everyone! Going to be hot here but lucky to have low humidity. Makes it liveable. I'm so not looking

forward to the high power bill again, but, it's either roast or be comfortable. We keep the A/C at 78, run the ceiling fan

and it stays very nice. Nights have been cool which is awesome!! Can at least open the windows.

Have to pick up a few veggies today, so that's about the highlight of my day!! Love shopping in this particular store as

they have coffee! Get my coffee and i'm ready for anything!

Enjoy the day and take care!

Hey everyone. I am so proud of my hubby. He graduated from Community College with a degree in Computer Networking. This is second degree. The other one was Computer Science from Algeria. He worked so hard. He is a member of PTK and graduated with Special Honors. I added a picture in the gallery of us at graduation.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Happy Sunday........I haven't posted since my hubby arrived March 6th, been sooo busy........been just reading on VJ in the background........wishing everyone well, whether you finally got your visa or if you're still waiting.

Ahmed got here safe and sound March 6th arriving in San Francisco, showed him around that day, the weather was great. The first couple of weeks we were still in a little shock that he's actually here :)

He's adjusting super-well, and just started his FIRST JOB yesterday

He got his SSN card 1 week after he got here and his green card only 2 weeks after he arrived, so he's had a really smooth time as far as that goes. All in all, we feel very lucky and blessed, especially since he landed a good job after only 9 weeks here. And doing a job he loves, cooking arabic food in a nice restaurant. :star: He just went in several nice restaurants near home, asked if they were hiring and the one he got lucky with is a family owned Turkish restaurant, so the food is very similar to arabic food.

So the past 9 weeks before he started working have been very nice, showing him around, getting him familiar with our area, traveling a little, settling in to real married life with my daughter (he's a GREAT stepdad.....she ran to him at the airport before I could even get to him!!) :star: . He's been driving the whole time with his international driver's license.........he's still studying for his California license ;)

So everyone still waiting for your SO.........please don't give up hope (I did soooooooo many times!) Once they are here with you, you really will forget about the long wait because you'll be so busy having your real life together!! (F)
