No touches for a long time then, NOA2?

I am beginning to get worried. Many of my new friends here on VJ are being touched this weekend and I don't even get a sniff! My only hope is that sometimes a NOA2 is received without having many recent touches.

Have some petitioners been receiving their (P2) NOA2 without recent touches right before they got it?

I am hoping the answers I receive are in the affirmative! :P

I was touched on August 3-4, announcing an RFE, again.

Then touched again today. Wondering why that is.

I hate to say it, but touches appear to be random. You could pop up with an approval at any minute, with no touches or even an update. As proven by that other thread.

Good luck Steve.

Thanks! Waiting and waiting for months on end....then when it SEEMS to be coming to the finish line for P2 the clock seems to slow to nearly a standstill. "The insanity of it all!"

I want to start having worries about P3 packages and important things like that. I'm tired of P2 issues! ;)

Sorry to hear about your second RFE, William. Hope you'll tell us what it was when you receive it in the mail.

Our case was approved back in May, but we were touched for the first time on May 8 and then approved the next day. Some cases get a lot of touches and some don't get any--no one really knows why.

We didn't get touched, nor did we receive an email stating that the NOA2 was sent, it just showed up in the mail one day.

I wouldn't rely too heavily on the online notification system either, ours still says my K1 is pending.
