Hi folks, some of you know my fiance is heading for US tonight POE LAX tomorrow evening. We were talking last night and she popped up with this nickname she said she wants to start calling me when she gets here...we normally call each other baby....but she used the words last night... "bb dunot" and said it means "bb love." I looked up dunot in several online cebuano/visayan dictionaries and dunot keeps giving a definition of "rotten, spoiled, decay." Is there a hidden meaning or slang meaning to this word?? Or is she calling me rotten baby?? :o

I sure hope not. I can ask my wife tonight, if you don't get a good answer by morning. LOL If I call my wife baby, she always tells me "Baby your a$$" She hates being called that. :bonk: It's Asawa ko or nothing.

Hi I am a Cebuano and yes what you have searched online was correct. I have no idea why your wife wanted you to call that name. Who knows she might have a different definition or different version of "dunot" on what it's meaning. But "dunot" basically is rotten, decayed or spoiled in our dialect which is Cebuano. Good Luck
