Hi!

My case was filed on 5th March 2010 and I received the mail for NOA on 20TH March 2010.

I check my status at this page:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

There has been no movenment of my status till today(10 May 2010).

I am worried why other peoples case is been touched and mine dosnt show any motion.

Can some one tell me if this is OK?

Am I doing anything wrong that it is not moving further up?

What is the next step that I should be expecting?

There is a clear frustration that OUR CASE IS STUCK. I am feeling depressed despite of me talking to my spouse for 1-3 hours every single day.

I feel I will need to be on Medications for depression.

Please inform.

You said it yourself that your case was toched today. So I don't think your case is stuck just yet. Remember, USCIS says it can take up to 5 months to process your case. Your case is only 51 days old. That's barely 2 months.

I also noticed most people have a period of lul in their case as far as touches goes after tetting NOA1. Then when the touches starts, they happen quickly and frequently until case is approved. So you may see more touches on your case from now on and get RFE (hopefully not) or approval soon. Good luck.

PS: It's not my place to say but being as much infatuated with your spouse as you seem to exude is not healthy. I'm sure you love her very much and she loves you very much. And you talk 3 hours a day and that's wonderful. Just don't get bored of each other even before you had the chance to be spouses for real. Just saying. I ain't no Dr. Phil.

Expect a wait from 150 to 180 days -

if it's before that, it's a blessing.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Hi!

No my case has not been touched at all.

I understand it may take time but got worried since other peoples case was showing the touch where as mine didn't.

Yes I think I need to cut down on the time to talk over the phone.

So is there any paper works which we need to keep ready and what will be my next step?

Let me know.

Thanks for all your opinions.

Thanks for the info.

I have another question which may be stupid but wanted to know:

If my salary/income is OK at 125% above the poverty line in the last 3 years(proof will be on the tax return filed)then should I still provide a bank statement showing my account balance?

Another question:

Do the spouse in the foreign country start to apply for a police clearence certificate from now when we just have the NOA1 in hand or should my spouse wait till any further indication? What is the right time to start to apply for PCC?

IMO - the 'NOA-2' time tick - when you have NOA-2, start the PCC paperwork .

Hi!

I am repeating my previous question here:

If my salary/income is OK at 125% above the poverty line in the last 3 years(proof will be on the tax return filed)then should I still provide a bank statement showing my account balance?

Should I absolutely need to show, then what is the minimum balance I should have in my account?

Can I show a brand new account or should it be a 7-12 months old account?

Please inform me.
