Hi All.

It's been 130 days since I received NOA. My online status is last updated a day after bio appt.

Most of the December filers are already approved.

I know that I'm still within 6 mon. frame but is it a good time to contact USCIS?

I heard some stories that some people didn't know they had the interview appt or the REF pending due to the postal error.

Also, USCIS sent out the document to several different offices that they are just sitting on the application until the applicants call to investigate.

Does anyone call USCIS or make infopass before 6 mon period and be able to get more info on your case?

I appreciate with any info.

Do as you wish but no one at the USCIS will pick up your request until you are outside the published dates which for VSC is currently at 180 days

YMMV

I'd call and see what's happening. Normally a month after the bio you get the interview letter - you're past that time - call and see where's your notice.

Our ROC went a bit longer than many and took 150+ days with no RFE or interview.

If you feel uncomfortable, give them a call - but be prepared to not get much information which can add to your frustration.

TIP:

Always a good idea to have your names inside your mailbox where the carrier can see it (inside the lid or similar location). In case your postal carrier is not familiar with you guys.

Hi utz119, I am also a December 2009 filer. So far I have gone to a infopass apointment to confirm they have the correct address on file. the IO at inforpass confirmed that the USCIS hasn't sent out anything such as RFE or interview letter. I also contacted my local congressman and senator but i haven't heard anything from them yet.

I think the infopass was helpful. I was able to get a I551 stamp. even though i did not find out any updated information on my case but i was able to make sure I didn't miss a notice from USCIS - that in some way was comforting.

Best of luck to us :)
