Highlighting our names in the documents?

When we enclose these documents as evidence of living a life together do we highlight the our names in each of those documents or not necessary?

e.g:

We have utility bills where it shows both names, do we highlight them?

We have home insurance policy documentation with both our names on it, do we highlight them?

We have bank account statements where it shows both names, do we highlight them?

Please let me know if anyone has done it or let me know your thoughts.

Thanks.

Sept 2008 - Waiver approved (K-1 Visa issued)

Jan 2009 - the Wedding Blessing & Reception (Bali, Indonesia)

Feb 2009 - Arrived in the US followed by the Civil Wedding & Reception (again:)

March 2009 - AOS filed

April 2009 - Biometric

The wait would be unbearable but it'll be worth it. It strengthens the love, it attaches you even more to each other, it shows how your man would do whatever it takes to be with you, that he will never give up on you because he LOVES you!! All the waits, stresses, tears, heartaches, all the miserable feelings you feel along the way will be paid off once you get what you've been hoping for...oh and WITHOUT PRAYERS? will be like trying to start a fire with water, JUST WON'T WORK!

That is what I did. The idea is to make for easy search for the IO. I also think they like to see that you went out of your way to make their job easy.

Actually, according to this attorney you should NOT highlight anything.. (http://immigrate2us.net/forum/showthread.php?73761-Stop-Highlighting-on-Documents-to-USCIS)

"I was just at a meeting with a liaison to USCIS and discovered a tidbit of information. Different USCIS offices are switching to a scanning program for documents that HATES highlighting. It reads the highlighted area as a big black blob, hiding what you are trying to draw attention to. Put things in bold if you want to draw attention to them. Otherwise anything that is electronically entered and then passed around will forever be missing the most important information."

How can you put anything in a copied original document in bold? You can't. The information provided above seems to be for items electronically sent. The I-751 is not electronically submitted - it is submitted via mail. The only option you have to draw attention to specific information in copied evidentary documents is highlighting. I think these are two different circumstances that are being discussed and the information above is not applicable to the I-751. The original file is what is used for the I-751 as well as for the N-400 not a scanned copy.

I highlighted names, account numbers, dates and in some cases specific itemized lines in statements such as the mortgage payment coming out of our joint account even though only my husband's name is on the mortgage document showing it is a joint expense. It makes it much easier to identify the actual requested information from the mass of information contained within a document.
