question about medical

Hi visa journey world...I have a few questions hoping to get some answers

-Can the medicals be done in the Halifax area? From what I am reading it seems that Montreal is the nearest to me. If I have to have it done in Montreal is it possible to get it done the same week as my interview? Any suggestions welcome...what are other people doing?

-I have opted for electronic processing and sent the last of my documents last night...as a guess when do you think the interview would be? July or August?

Any feedback would be appreciated

Hi,

There are 4 panel physicians in Canada, one in Montreal, 2 in Toronto and 1 in Vancouver. You can generally get it done the same week as your interview, just ensure you leave a few days for them to get it back to you.

The list of panel physicians and their contact information can be found here

As for interview timing, could be a couple of months or 5-6, hard to say with Montreal. Have a look at the Montreal Timeline to Interview thread - if the person has an EP next to their name it means they filed electronically.

Hey

i just had my medical in toronto last week. My only recommendation would be if your interview is the next day make sure you have everything ready. My interview is not until next month, I was told one of my vaccination had expired and i needed to get another one. I guess it was only valid for ten years. So he asked me to go and get the vaccination, went to my doc. the next day and he told me i had it done 2006 and gave me a note to fax it to them  you might miss something, so it might be better to have at least a day or two before your interview. Just to make sure!!

I just wanted to point that out because the OP says she is going to Montreal for the medical.
