You don't even need the letter from the NVC. Call the NVC and ask for your MNL case number. The beneficiary can go to St. Lukes with a scanned and emailed copy of the NOA2 and the MNL number written down on paper. If you are in a hurry and want to get it done prior to receiving the NVC letter.

Calling and scheduling medical is a waste of time. It's unnecessary. You can walk in anytime Mon-Fri and be sure you have (if not original) a scanned copy of your NOA2 plus your MNL case# memorized

Good luck on your medical.

NOA2 is the "Approval Notice". You can bring this with you when you have your medical at St. Luke's along with the appointment letter that NVC have sent you for your interview.

i just found what NOA1 and NOA2 are

* NOA1: Typically refers to the NOA printed when a petition is first received by the USCIS

* NOA2: Typically refers to the NOA printed when a petition has been processed and a final decision has been made

Notice of Action
